A gust of April wind

I present to you another chubby puppy with curls a little moved by the wind. She's just assorted in reading a bit like I am when I have a book in my hands that I really like.
I love reading so much that while I model my clay girls I listen to audio books. I don't know how it's possible, but I find myself perfectly modeling and painting while letting myself be photographed by the narration of a story. They are moments of absolute peace that make me feel so good.

The girl's skin is left in natural clay, while the coloured parts have been painted with different hues of engobes (slips) in order to create delicate nuances and plays of colour. I really like playing with colours and decorations.

The face is as small as a hazelnut and modelled by hand. The curls are applied one at a time and are made of delicate strips of clay rolled up on themselves.

I apply a little enamel and usually it's glazed.

The sculpture is hollow.
