Fairy with leaves

This small round and winged fairy with natural colors is modeled in pink clay and decorated with earths of different colours: white, yellow and black.

I did not apply enamels and I did a 960° single firing. I preferred to leave it as natural as possible to best enhance the colors that the earth offers us and have a greener approach.

The small sculpture measures: cm11 x cm17 x cm10. The head is as small as a hazelnut and the hair is made with very thin strips of clay rolled up on themselves.

Per intenderci sta sopra una mano. La testina è piccola come una nocciola ed i capelli sono realizzati con sottilissime striscioline di argilla arrotolate su se stesse.
