This handcrafted ceramic sculpture represents a woman-mermaid, guardian of the sea and its endless creatures.
Her long flowing hair recalls the gentle movements of the water, embracing shells and fish, as if the sea itself were intertwined with her body. In her hands she holds a golden shell, symbol of mystery and the deep breath of the oceans.

"Whole Sea” is an intimate and poetic artwork, speaking of harmony, listening, and belonging to the natural world that nurtures and protects us. It is an invitation to pause and listen to the secret song of the sea, to recognize the fragile yet powerful beauty of nature.

Created in glazed ceramic with shiny finishes, this sculpture combines elegance and strength, becoming a symbolic presence able to bring calm, energy, and wonder to those who welcome it.

Technical notes
The sculpture is hand-modeled with a semi-refractory white clay with 0.02 chamotte.
It has been decorated with ceramic glazes.
The little face is as small as a hazelnut.
The sculpture is hollow and has undergone two firings at 1020° and 980°.
