Ruby

My work continues with the research of Renaissance costumes and their interpretation.
The creation of the hairstyle was a great feat because it is made up of many strips of clay rolled up on themselves. In my hair I have placed clusters of ruby red pearls which are also taken up in the dress.

Technical notes
The work is made of pinkish clay and has undergone three firings at 960°, 980° and 700°.
It was decorated with engobes, enamels, lustres in the third fire and wax.
