The Dream Becomes a Mother
It was the day I held my son in my arms for the very first time.
That memory stayed inside me for years.
Until my hands set it free, shaping it into clay, into color, into breath.
That’s how this sculpture was born.
A mother. A child. A world blooming beneath them.
This is my motherhood.
Maybe it’s yours too.

Technical notes

The work is hand-molded in semi-refractory red clay, decorated with engobes, glossy and semi-glossy ceramic enamels.
The sculpture underwent two firings.

E’ stata decorata con incisioni e dipinta con con diverse tonalità di ingobbi in modo da creare delicate sfumature e giochi di colore.

The sculpture is hollow.
