Resilient Little Angel with X

This small terracotta angel was created as a sign of closeness for women who are going through a delicate moment in their lives.
On its chest it bears a tiny engraved cross: a simple symbol, almost a whisper, dedicated to those facing a path of care or an important surgery.

I shaped it with a serene expression, closed eyes and a quiet breath, as if it were holding both courage and gentleness at once. Its soft wings wrap around the body without tightening, letting light and lightness pass through.

The smooth head and clean, essential face express an authentic beauty that needs no adornment.
It’s an angel that accompanies, reminding those who receive it that strength can be delicate, and that no one is ever alone while walking through a challenge.

Technical notes
The sculpture is hand-modeled with a pinkish-toned clay.
The angel’s skin has been left in natural clay, while the colored areas are decorated only with white slip.
The little face is smaller than a hazelnut.
The sculpture is hollow and has undergone a single firing at 980°.
